邁向總經理之路就是經常要問:
假如您是某事業公司的總經理,您會怎麼經營?採取啥新策略?

要做產業市場分析及產業技術分析。 
要有如此才能做正確的決策,才能有總經理的視野。
企業的利潤80%來自於策略,20%來自來管理。

The path to becoming a general manager is always to ask:

記得我在財團法人生物開發中心時,有許技術部門,例如遺傳工程組織單位,農業生技等。但有一個組是企業組。
當時的主管張天鴻博士曾任職Corning Class BD部門,認為產業市場分析與技術分析報告是培養總經理的入門訓練。
我們企業組產出了好幾位總經理,例如張天鴻,邱福泓,羅敏菁等。

I remember when I was in the Biological Development Center, there were many technical departments, such as genetic engineering organizational unit, agricultural biotechnology, and so on. But one group is the Enterprise group.
The director at the time, Dr. William Chang, had worked in Corning’s business development department and believed that industrial market analysis and technical analysis reports were introductory training for general managers.
Our enterprise group has produced several general managers, such as Dr. William Chang, Qiu Fuhong, Luo Minjing and so on.

我1989年寫了一本是藥物控制釋放劑型技術與市場分析

In 1989, I wrote a book on Controlled Release Dosage Form Technology and Market Analysis.

主張台灣不要開發新藥,要開發慢釋放控制劑型。
台灣藥劑市場一年1200億元台幣, 開發一個完全的新成份新藥需要50億元台幣 老藥新劑型0.5億元 >
34年前, 就主張台灣藥廠要開發新劑型
針對專利過期的藥品開發新劑型。而新劑型的技術就是控制釋放  像普拿疼 保護您就是。
結果34年台灣的藥界, 都是這個方向

Taiwan should not develop new drugs, but develop slow-release controlled dosage forms.
Taiwan’s pharmaceutical market is NTD 120 billion a year, and the development of a completely new drug with new ingredients requires NTD 5 billion for old drugs and NTD 50 million for new dosage forms.
34 years ago, it advocated that taiwan pharmaceutical companies should develop new dosage forms
Develop new dosage forms for off-patent drugs. And the technology of the new dosage forms is to control the release of drugs like Bolivar To protect you.
As a result, the pharmaceutical industry in Taiwan for 34 years is in this direction.

AI 來臨了,對我們有什變化?
事業的成功率, 10年存活率1成,主要是行業技術及市場分析資料不足,很多公司創立後,投入資金人力只是證明不可行。
假如行業技術及市場分析資料充足,企業經營,成功率預計會高到5倍以上。
AI尤其微軟旗下,skype上的Bing,讓我們很快的取得某個產業的市場分析及技術分析。

AI has come, what has changed for us?

3.2經營模式分析:
事業賺錢嗎?可以永續經營嗎?有獨特經營模式?
有獨特技術?有獨特證照?有特殊人脈?
在會計,薪資處理方面有沒有特殊之處?
4.經常要問:
假如您是該事業公司的總經理,您會怎麼經營?採取啥新策略? 

The road to general manager is to always ask yourself
If you were the general manager of a company, what would you do? What’s the new strategy?

1.Define Industry (Industry)
The cause of the products and services? What industry is the product or service in?
Does the business require a special license? Do I have to comply with special regulations?
Are there any reference companies?

2.Industry (Industry) Technology and Market Analysis
How big is the industry market?
What is (industry) technology?
Are there needs that are not being met?

3.Business-specific business analysis
3.1 Customers and suppliers of the business:
The clients of the client, the clients of the client’s client?
The supplier of the client, the supplier of the client?
3.2 Business Model Analysis:
Does the business make money? Can it work long-term existent ? Do you have a unique business model?
Have a unique technology? Have a unique license? Special connections?
Is there any specialty in accounting, payroll processing?

4.Always ask:
If you were the general manager of the company, how would you run it? What’s the new strategy?
